Jonstar Sustainable Technologies Turn Three This Month

Jonstar Sustainable Technologies turn three this month

As Jonstar Sustainable Technologies turn three this month we thought it would be good to look back at what we’ve achieved since those early days at the start of the pandemic. How times have changed!

After an understandably difficult initial year with only a handful of installations we brought in our first Project Manager to assist with our growing pipeline, in particular around Solar PV and decarbonisation projects. We have now taken on a further Project Manager and are looking to increase the team to again manage our expansion through 2023.

We’ve had the opportunity to work on some amazing sites and formed some brilliant partnerships with key construction and engineering companies. To name a few of our projects.

The Island of Orford Ness where we installed 30kWp as part of an off-grid system with battery and generator.

We were part of the EV charge point project at Blenheim Palace.

Installation of a new Infrared heating system at Wisbech Sea Cadets to replace their failed gas blower system.

Sunamp heat batteries to supply out of hours heating of domestic hot water for County Hall, Leicester, being charged in the day by their 2MW Biomass Boiler

New heating system by way of 9 Air Source Heat Pumps at Beaumanor Hall and 2 Sunamp Heat Batteries charged off the ASHP as part of Leicestershire County Councils decarbonisation plan.

We’ve completed 41 Solar PV installations, totalling 1.3MW, which are now producing around 1,174,500kWh a year, offsetting approximately 500 tonnes of C02.

What a fantastic result for the Jonstar Sustainable Team. We’re all looking forward to a record year in 2023!
